if you are a disabled individual needing support for meeting your needs, I highly recommend looking into the resources through the TN Disability Coalition as well as the resources listed below.
- Find a Food Pantry – a place to type in your location & find a food pantry
- PeriodPantry on Reddit – community resources for free period products
- Meal Train – free & easy way to organize a meal train for someone in need
- Autistic POC Fund – mutual aid funds & more for BIPOC autistic folks.
- Mental Health Co-Op – tons of resources, not just mental health care
- Where to Turn in Nashville: Comprehensive Resource Guide – includes resources for housing, food, dental care, hearing aids, personal care, rent/utilities support, medical & mental healthcare, addiction services, nursing homes, HIV care, and LOTS more
- Programs and Services for Youth and Young Adults in Nashville – resources for a plethora of things including domestic violence, foster care, teen pregnancy, veteran services & more.
- Nashville LAUNCH Pad – shelter for LGBTQ+ young adults, age 18-24. They’re an organization that is dedicated to creating safe spaces that affirm the rights and dignity of LGBTQ+ young adults in Tennessee.
- Our Place Nashville – supportive & affordable housing for folks with developmental disabilities
- Open Table Nashville – organization serving unhoused people in Nashville
- Nashville Food Project – providing community meals, gardens & more

- The Ark of Cheatam County – includes resources for food, utility payment, school supplies & more.
- Oasis Center Street Outreach Program – helping adults 18-24 who are unhoused/lack reliable housing (whether it’s on the streets or staying on a friend’s couch). They have a center (located in Nashville) where you can shower, get a meal, etc. They can also come to you.

- Health Connect America (southeast US) – (mental healthcare only) can provide case management services, coordination between agencies, low-to-no-cost mental healthcare as well.

- Loveland Foundation – scholarships for black femmes to access mental healthcare
- BIPOC Therapy Fund – scholarships for BIPOC folks to access mental healthcare — currently prioritizing care for Palestinian folks
- Project HEAL – organization for helping you navigate the process of finding eating disorder treatment
- Renewed – non-profit for those recovering from eating disorders, lots of free groups & other resources
- United Healthcare Children’s Fund (for under 18) – UHCCF grants help with medical expenses not covered, or not fully covered, by a family’s commercial health insurance.
- Good Days – help with healthcare-related costs
- HealthWell Foundation – help underinsured pay for critical healthcare treatment
- Rx Hope – assistance in covering medication costs
- Katie Beckett Program – for children under the age of 18 with disabilities or complex medical needs. This program is for children who are not Medicaid eligible because of their parent’s income or assets. Fund will provide services and/or help pay for medical care that private insurance does not cover.
